Which Hollywood open mic nights are worth checking out?

I’m looking for some good Hollywood open mic nights where I can listen to local musicians, comedians, or other performers. I enjoy smaller venues and events with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere rather than huge shows. If you’ve attended an open mic recently, which ones would you recommend? I’d also be interested in knowing what night they usually take place and whether performers need to sign up in advance.
